CFDD Advisory Group

Private capital  ·  Structured credit  ·  Project finance

Private capital, underwritten one transaction at a time.

CFDD Advisory Group is the professional front-end conduit for a private family office capital mandate — receiving, assessing and structuring prospective transactions against lender-grade underwriting discipline.

01The Firm

A controlled review channel, not a brokerage.

CFDD operates as an advisory, due-diligence, feasibility and underwriting-support platform. It is the disciplined channel through which prospective transactions are reviewed before being elevated for family-office consideration — coordinating confidentiality, assessing sponsor and project credibility, and testing the sufficiency of proposed security.

Its function is to separate transactions that are merely aspirational from those capable of being assessed, documented and funded. The work is to convert an opportunity into an underwritable proposition: an identified credit thesis, a controlled use of proceeds, a credible source of repayment, and security that can be perfected and enforced.

02The Mandate

A credit-led mandate.

The mandate is principally credit-led and transaction-specific — closer to private credit, project finance and structured finance than to conventional equity sponsorship. Equity-style upside may feature in appropriate cases, but the analysis stays anchored in risk, collateral, documentation, repayment and enforceability.

Private creditPrimary framework
Credit quality, leverage, collateral, covenants, cash flow, downside protection and repayment certainty.
Project finance
Project economics, permits, construction and completion risk, technical diligence and the cash-flow waterfall.
Structured finance
Transaction architecture, ring-fencing, security package, escrow mechanics, priority, reserves and enforceability.
Special situations
Refinancing, rescue capital, asset monetisation and liquidity bridges where collateral and a credible exit can be established.
Private equity
Relevant by analogy, where sponsor quality, enterprise value and exit route inform repayment — not the primary framework.

03Sector Coverage

Where capital is deployed.

Coverage is broad but selective. The determining factor is not the sector label — it is whether a transaction is financeable, adequately secured, commercially rational and capable of being documented and enforced.

04Process

From opportunity to funding.

The pathway is deliberately sequenced, so that legal and diligence resources are not committed before a transaction has been properly qualified. Each stage produces a defined output.
